Doris Davies lived most of her life in a council flat in South London.
She worked hard as a bookbinder in Soho bringing up 3 children on her own.
She was a strong headed fiesty woman and her mind never failed her.
Her body however was not so strong.
She became house bound with severe arthritis in the later part of her life and depended on home help.
These photographs were taken during the last year of her life before she was admitted to hospital and the words are her own.
Somebody else lives there now…
