In 2003, siblings Max, India and Xanthe Hamilton set out to make documentaries about subjects they felt passionately about.

On a very low budget they produced several powerful documentaries that were broadcast on ITV Regional. They were soon approached by a number charities that wanted campaign and promotional video for their fundraising events and websites. This was successful as they had the technical know how, talent and equipment to produce artistic and thought provoking film, with the added skill of being able deliver results on a shoestring. They noticed a huge demand for this service, which was also in keeping with their initial ambitions, so in 2006 MIX was founded.
